Jungle Juice & Protein Power

These are my drinks from Buffalo Grand Slam, I pre-made them and left them at each Aid station. I had Hammer bars and gels but also needed some ‘treats’ along the way and especially the protein powder drink right when I crossed the line. It was important for me to get it back into my system as quick as possible and rest up for the following day of racing. Both recipes just require sourcing the ingredients and blitzing them with your juicer.

Protein Power

  • PB2 powder
  • 2 tbs of Honey
  • 1 Bananas
  • 1ltrs Coconut water

Jungle Juice

  • 1 Mango
  • ½ pnt Strawberries (can use frozen)
  • 1 Vanilla bean (seeds scraped)
  • 500ml Coconut water
  • 2 tbs Coconut sugar
  • 1 tbs Chia seeds
