Vegan Raw Donuts
Serves 5




  • 1 cup of almond meal
  • 1 cup of dried coconut shreds
  • 6 Tbs pure maple syrup
  • 2 pinch himalayan pink salt
  • Dash of beetroot juice (optional for pink colouring)


  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 2 pinch himalayan pink salt
  • 2 Tbs pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup rice puffs


Place all donut ingredients into food processor, blend till ingredients come together. Portion your dough into five equal balls, form donut shape by pressing dough into a circular doughnut shape and use cutter to cut the middle circle out for your donut. Place onto wire rack over a tray.

Melt coconut butter for the icing, slowly add cacao powder till desired texture while whisking by hand. Add the maple syrup and salt and continue whisking. Put some icing aside to pour over rice puffs.

Pour or spoon icing over donuts, sprinkle cacao covered rice puffs over the top and place donuts in fridge to allow icing to cool and form.
